Birgit Jacob re-elected member of DFG mathematics review board

In the DFG Review Board elections, IMACM chair Birgit Jacob has been elected to the Review Board for Mathematics for a second term. The IMACM warmly congratulates her on this election, which also expresses her scientific reputation and trust within the mathematics community.

The Review Board for Mathematics has a total of ten members, the term of office of the newly elected board runs from 2024 to 2028. The Review Board decides on applications for grants and Emmy Noether junior research groups on the basis of external reviews. The review board is also involved in reviews of coordinated programs such as research groups, Research Training Groups, Collaborative Research Centres, Priority Programs and the Excellence Initiative.
